She has no body as the others have (2014)

This performance was articulated in a small creek on the edge of my home town in late September. I physically immersed myself in the river and long grass in the hopes of reconnecting to the land, and subsequently my body. Memory is contained within the land and the body, thus in forgetting ones body one simply forgets, which I refuse. The title of this piece is a quote from Virginia Woolf's novel, The Waves.
